Refund Policy

1. Introduction

CarVroom Pty Ltd (We, Us, Our) takes pride in our customer service and we aim to provide a clear and concise outline of how and when refunds are applicable. This Policy relates to refunds by any means and by any technology.

2. When You Can Get a Refund

Refunds aren’t always an automatic right. CarVroom doesn’t have to provide a refund if you:

  • change your mind, or

  • buy the wrong product.

However CarVroom can still offer refunds in these situations as long as it is:

  • prior to the delivery of a vehicle,

  • prior to any installation of accessories or aftermarket products taking place,

  • not a special order or custom build,

  • not under a finance agreement where documents have been signed.

You are always entitled to a refund, repair or replacement if a consumer guarantee is not met. The remedy you're entitled to will depend on whether the issue is major or minor.

You can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item:

  • has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it,

  • is unsafe,

  • is significantly different from the sample or description doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.

Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value. If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement. Please keep your proof of purchase — e.g. your receipt.

3. Refund methods

CarVroom will usually give you a refund in the same way that you originally paid them. This will generally be via an electronic transaction.

4. Warranties

Our vehicles are supplied by dealerships that offer their own warranties. Any vehicle warranty claim should be directed to a franchised dealer for new cars and the selling dealer for used cars.

Our aftermarket products are installed by third-party installers who also provide their own warranties. Details of these warranties will be emailed to you on completion of the installation. For any warranty claims, please call the third-party installer directly.

5. Changes To Our Refund Policy

We may, without notice, amend this Policy from time to time for any reason and will update the Policy accordingly. We ask that you visit our website in order to remain up to date with such changes. We are constantly reviewing all of our policies and attempt to keep up to date with market expectations. Technology is constantly changing, as is the law and marketplace practices. As a consequence, we may change this Refund Policy from time to time or as the need arises.
